Jacob Yoon

Cinematographer / Photographer

Founder of Daybreak Films

Jacob Yoon is a Korean-American Cinematographer / Photographer born in New York and currently based out of Knoxville, TN. Jacob first started his journey with a video camera when he was 7-years-old. He first started working with his fathers VHS Panasonic Camcorder. He was always curious about how a video camera worked. Always played around with his sister Erica Lee, filming home movies.

Many years go by and he forgotten his love for filming, until the year 2019. He went on a once-in-a-lifetime trip to go to South Korea, to learn about his heritage and see the sights. Determined to document his trip, he bought his first camera (a GoPro Hero 6 Black) and a laptop. He filmed 13 out of the 14 days abroad. After each day he filmed, he would also edit at the end of each day, and continued to upload them daily (where internet was available). Since then, he has grown his camera collection and continues to pursue his love and dream for cinematography and photography.

Jacob has filmed and edited over 50 weddings, 30 music videos, and over countless advertisements for various small businesses in the East Tennessee area.

Lizzy Livingston

Photographer

Lizzy Livingston was born and raised in Augusta, GA, but has called Knoxville home since 2015. Her photography journey began with street photography and a point and shoot, playing with light streaks and motion blur. Between shifts she’d walk around the Broad Street area snapping photos of friends and landmarks, and became comfortable with low light photography in the process.

She upgraded to a LUMIX S5 and a nifty 50 1.8 lens in 2021 and then jumped headfirst into the world of concert photography. She was quickly picked up to shoot for Stage Dive Magazine and has been privileged to photograph major names in the world of metal music such as Lorna Shore, Knocked Loose, Gojira, Coheed and Cambria, Cattle Decapitation, Entheos, Rivers of Nihil, Fit For An Autopsy, Archspire, Born of Osiris, Blackbraid, Conquer Divide, Abigail Williams, and more. She also works closely with several bands in the East Tennessee area on live concert photography and promotional photos. Since then, she has upgraded to a Canon R6 Mark II paired with incredible lenses, and has expanded her offerings into the world of weddings, engagements, product photography, and beyond!

"treat everybody with kindness, love, Respect and compassion that they deserve. You don't know where they are in their journey in life; If they're struggling, ask them if they need help, encouragement or just need a shoulder to lean on. If they're succeeding and doing well, cheer them on and help them get further ahead. It's the little victories that make life worth living for. Life is to short to be mad or stay upset at something out of your control. But the most important thing out of everything in life, is to enjoy it."
